Krytox GPL 105 + 205 Mix (7:3)

• Description
• This lube mix is very popular in the South Korean community. It is known to preserve the original sound of the switch, while also giving it that nice, lubed "thock"
  
• Note : The mix could separate over time as it is a combination of oil and grease. Please make sure to mix it before use if left to sit for long periods of time

• Krytox GPL 105 + 205 Mix (7:3) is chemically stable and non-hazardous, however, gloves and a protective layer over the workspace are recommended. Spills are difficult to clean and lubricant will transfer from hands to another surface

Hi,

I am trying to build my first keyboard. I read on reddit that you have to mix Krytox GPL-105 with 205. The problem is that, I can't find 105 on amazon or anywhere else.

Why do i need to mix them? What happens if I only use 205?

205 on amazon is not the specialized 205g0 that keyboard vendors sell. Amazon 205 is 205g2 which is generally too thick to use on switches so people mix it with 105 oil to thin it out.

This is the correct answer. No matter how good you are at lubing switches they will be slow motion switches after using just GPL205g2 by itself. TBH, the fact that Krytox mixes tend to separate over time is the reason people originally started trying different grades of Krytox/Krytox equivalents.

205 is a good lube by it's self, many people I know of just use 205, idk where you saw you need to mix it with 105 for it to be good but it's probably some high tier elitist

일반적으로 스위치 스프링은 크라이톡스 105로 윤활합니다.

스위치 하우징과 슬라이더는 요즘 구리스 계열로 하시는게 추세인데, 105+205 믹스를 사용하시거나 

트리보시스 계열의 구리스를 사용합니다.

스테빌 윤활은 구리스 계열로 사용하는데, 보통 크라이톡스 205나 퍼마텍스 구리스를 많이 사용합니다.

혹시 텐키리스 키보드 한체하려면 몇그람정도면 적정량인지 여쭤봐도 될까욤

초보자다보니 양조절이나 그외에 실수를 할수도 있으니 조금 넉넉하게...

보통 텐키 하나정도 할려고 하시면

크라이톡스 105, 205 국내 스토어에 소분해놓은거 8g 정도인가 한통 씩 사시면 충분히 해결됩니다.

105,205 8그람짜리 한개씩 하면 충분하다는 말씀이시군요 

검색좀 해봤는데 뭔가,,, 크라이톡스가 일반정인 통에 담겨있네요 ㄷㄷ

뭔가 브랜드가 있는느낌이아니라.... 살짝놀랐습니다 ㅎㅎ

넵 정품 통에 들어있는거는 개인이 사기엔 양도 많고, 가격이 비싸기때문에...
